Knit a sweet, modern pullover with this Women’s Raglan Sweater Knitting Pattern PDF.

The Little Love Sleeve Sweater is a seamless top-down pullover featuring a clean stockinette body, classic raglan shaping, ribbed edges, and a small contrasting heart on the sleeve.

The heart is added after the sweater is finished using duplicate stitch, so you can create the color detail without working stranded colorwork or intarsia into the sweater itself.

Designed in 6 sizes from XS through 2XL, this pattern is a great next-step garment project for advanced beginners who are comfortable knitting in the round.

Seamless Top-Down Construction

The sweater begins at the neckline and is worked downward in the round.

Raglan increases are worked every other round until the correct yoke stitch count for your size is reached.

The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold while the body is completed. Each sleeve is later returned to the needles and worked seamlessly from the underarm down to the cuff.

This construction eliminates traditional garment seaming and makes it easier to adjust body or sleeve length while knitting.

No Colorwork Required

The heart detail is added after knitting and blocking using duplicate stitch.

That means you can knit the entire sweater in one main color first and add the heart afterward with a tapestry needle.

The included 14-stitch-wide x 14-row-tall heart chart shows exactly where to place each duplicate stitch.

Sweet Minimalist Heart Detail

The heart is positioned on the left sleeve, centered on the outer forearm approximately 2.5 inches above the cuff.

This gives the sweater a subtle statement detail without covering the entire garment in colorwork.

Use classic red for a romantic look or personalize the sweater with your favorite contrast color.
